We are proud to have been part of the impactful project in Irbid Municipality, and we are honored to participate in this enlightening documentary,” states MEHNA’s CEO.

In 2018, MEHNA was contracted to develop a recycling station, in partnership with the Greater Irbid Municipality, as part of a recycling plant project funded by the European Union and executed by ICU. The recycling plant has achieved remarkable results, with a production capacity of 12 tons of recycled plastic transformed into granules and 8 tons of paper, which is used as insulation material in the construction sector.

This venture aligns with our core mission of creating new products from recyclable materials, including valuable resources like plastic and used paper, contributing to environmental preservation and local resource utilization. Moreover, it is a significant step towards generating national job opportunities in a rapidly developing entrepreneurial sector. Equally important, this initiative strengthens the partnership between the private sector and the government, marking a pivotal moment in our commitment to pioneering and ambitious projects.

The documentary also featured significant contributions from esteemed participants: Dr. Mustafa Jaar, SWM consultant at Al Jaar Consulting; Dr. Mohammed Khashashneh, Acting Secretary General at the Ministry of Environment; and Dr. Ayman Al Omari, Director of Environment Development at the Municipality of Zarqa. Their valuable contributions significantly enhanced and strengthened the documentary content.
