Mehna Becomes A Signatory Of The United Nations' Women's Empowerment Principles In Jordan

May 18, 2021

MEHNA is proud to announce its commitment to the cause of women’s empowerment by joining the ranks of esteemed organizations dedicated to fostering gender equality and inclusivity in the workplace.

In a significant milestone, UN Women Jordan has introduced MEHNA as one of the new signatories of the United Nations’ Women’s Empowerment Principles in Jordan. MEHNA demonstrates its dedication to advancing gender diversity and creating a more inclusive and equal work environment.

The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) are a set of seven principles that guide businesses and organizations in creating more equitable and inclusive workplaces. These principles advocate for gender equality, including fair treatment, leadership opportunities, and non-discrimination for women employees. By becoming a signatory of these principles, MEHNA joins a global movement to advance women’s rights and promote their active participation in the workforce.

MEHNA is honored to be among those seeking positive change within our working environments. We recognize the vital role that women play in the workforce and are committed to fostering a workplace culture that values and supports women’s empowerment.

This initiative aligns with the broader goals of the United Nations in achieving gender equality and empowering women across the globe.

MEHNA eagerly anticipates collaborating with UN Women Jordan and other signatories to implement these principles, fostering change and creating workplaces where women are not only present but thrive, reflecting our commitment to a more inclusive and equitable future and our active participation in promoting women’s empowerment.
