05 August 2020
In a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive workforce, the CEO of MEHNA participated in the “You Can” campaign, an initiative aiming to address the challenges faced by women in the job market while highlighting how to overcome these challenges through good practices from both the public and private sectors. This campaign seeks to raise awareness about women’s roles in the workforce and promote best practices and organizational models to enhance female engagement.
The “You Can” campaign conducted a series of workshops and roundtable discussions across eight governorates, with a primary focus on increasing public awareness, building capacity, and facilitating women’s access to economic opportunities. The overarching goal is to empower women to support themselves and their families and to contribute to the growth of their country.
This initiative is part of the “Launching Economic Achievement Program (LEAP),” executed by Injaz in partnership with CBIE BCEI, Ryerson University in Canada, and BPWA(Business & Professional Women’s Association). Generously funded by the Government of Canada, it aims to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women while promoting gender equality in the workforce.
The active involvement of MEHNA’s CEO in this campaign highlights the commitment of the private sector to gender equality and inclusivity in the workforce. MEHNA demonstrates its dedication to fostering an environment where women are empowered and enabled to reach their full potential in the workplace.
